Cafe Coda provides nourishment for the hungry, the thirsty, and the entertainment deprived. Coda serves the best breakfast imaginable, from 7-2 daily, as well as lunch from 11-2 M-F. Cafe Coda features fresh, local produce, house made breads and Chico's most innovative menus.
In addition, Cafe Coda transforms into an all-ages music venue every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Each show features the best talent Chico has to offer alongside the hottest touring acts. *NOTE* We only do shows on THURS/FRI/SAT nights. Please do not inquire about playing if you need Sun-Wed (unless you have a stellar lineup of locals confirmed). Booking can be done by emailing Dan at dan@cafecoda.com or through this myspace. Please allow 1-2 weeks for response.
A Bit About Promoting:
We love hosting shows, but we love hosting successful shows even more. If you'd like to see a good crowd at your show, please adhere to the following and your chances of success will increase:
-Make Fliers: if you design a flier and print out a stack of them (about 25 black & white is fine) and drop them off/mail them to Cafe Coda, Dan will personally distribute them around town for you.
-Put Your Show on Chicolist: visit www.chicolist.com to submit your show. Please follow all regulations for posting.
-Spread the Word Of Mouth: telling your friends and other bands that you know is the single best way to get people to come out
-Go Above and Beyond: contact local papers (Synthesis, Chico News & Review, etc.) and ASK for press. It's unlikely you'll get any love from these unless you go out of your way and bug them. The more you bug them, the more likely they are to help you out. Please don't hesitate to ask for "PROMO 101", a .pdf file we can email you with all the necessary contact info for promoting in Chico.

Hi there! Hope you can make it to our next show at Jasper O'Farrells in Sebastopol, Ca. on October 9th! The Rovetti Experience will be playing rock, swing, blues and a tad bit of bluegrass. So if you like to dance, or just want to check out an entertaining band, Jasper O'Farrells is the happening spot to be for the night of October 9th. Show starts at 10:00pm. Also, if you stick around till the end of the show, there will be a special treat involving fire and violin called Classical Element. Your support is always much appreciated. It's 21 and up.
