About me: Haitian coffee has a long history unknown or forgotten by most. In 1780 Haiti produce such a high quality and great tasting coffee it ruled by producing 70% of the worlds coffee. What made it so great?..taste it and see.
Most serious coffee drinkers are famliar with Jamaican Blue coffee. Did you know that coffee arrived to Jamaica in the hands of Haitians fleeing Haiti during the slave revolt there that resulted in Haiti becomeing the first free Black Republic? Come taste an excellent coffee that also supports the rebuilding of a country that has touched and enhanced the history, politics and freedoms of so many other.
C.J. Valerus, born and raised in Boston
Massachusetts of Haitian immigrant parents, first had
the idea for this venture about 6 years ago. Growing
up his parents were involved in both charity work on
the island as well as assisting new immigrants start
their life here in America. He endeavored for a way to
see Haiti produce a high quality product that would
be desired by the American public and priced to
benefit those who produced it.
