Favorite music includes the light jazz sounds of George Benson, Luther Vanderos, Sade, Chris Botti, and Kenny G. I also like listening to classic rockers as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, John Mellechamp, Bruce Springsteen, Survivor, the Police, and the Eagles. I like pop including Il Divo, Sarah Brightman, Josh Grobin, Celtic Thunder, and Celtic Women.
Movies
My favorite films are GONE WITH THE WIND, SINGING IN THE RAIN, and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. I like comedies and romantic movies including THE BIRD CAGE, MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING, HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS, and PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (the latest one). I also like Hitchcock thrillers.
Television
I enjoy LAW & ORDER, GHOST WHISPERER,the History Channel, Lifetime Original Movies based on romance novels, and some PBS mini-series. I enjoy the BBC comedies and Turner Classic Movies.
Books
Too many books, too little time. My favorite books include GONE WITH THE WIND, EVERGREEN, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, and THE LITTLE PRINCE.
Heroes
I think that the men and women serving the nation are heroic. I think the fire fighters, rescue workers, and police are heroic, especially those who rescued and helped during 911. I find everyday heroes most heroic. However, I did enjoy Christopher Reeve's as Superman, and I thought that he was pretty heroic as a man in real life with all he went through.

I am a teacher, a mother, and an avid watercolorist. I've travelled to Ireland, Scotland, England, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Turkey, Greece, Mexico, and Morocco. My favorite trips include a cruise around the Greek islands, hiking in the Canadian Rockies, a tour of the Scottish Highlands, and visits to family in Ireland and Gibraltar.
