Massive production with dizzy synths forge a fresh, psychadelic electronic-soul record from ‘The Baby’, making this as effective on the floor as on the radio. As cool as it is hooky, Cagedbaby delivers vocals reminiscent of infectious early 80s pop. Cagedbaby's good friends are on "Forced" remix duties with Radio 1’s Dave Spoon delivering a stripped back, percussive Ibizan terrace classic. Dutch superstar Don Diablo provides a stunning nu-disco rework, alongside Foamo, who serves up a big room hook driven monster. Meanwhile, Idiotproof provide their trademark twisted techno afterparty slant on things with their best remix to date and Streetlife Dj's go mental for the dancefloor on their cut n rub dub.
Since his first album, the sublime “Will See You Now”, Cagedbaby has been destroying Dancefloors the world over as a DJ, craftfully delivering techno and disco, and playing his own re-edits, remixes and productions around the globe, from, Ibiza's Space Terrace to Womb in Japan, from the Big Day Out in Australia to Rock Ness, Creamfields and Glastonbury to name but a few.
He's also been busy in the studio working with diverse artists from Fatboyslim to Radioslave, and Kris Menace to David Byrne - and in demand as a remixer including forthcoming reworks of Empire Of The Sun, Grace Jones, The BPA and many more.
