I dedicated Myspace page, a slideshow, a song by Bryan Adams and my newest blog, to the best alley cat in the world. "Pooperhead kitty" was diagnosed with cancer inside her calcis-tarsal bones in the right leg on Thursday, January 17, 2008. Last month she underwent hip surgery for an arthritic hip that was injured when she was a kitten. I found her in an alley - hence the name "Alley Cat." she had been hit by a car, and no one bothered to stop and giver her aid. She limped up to me on my bike as I was leaving a grocery store. She had been abused. Someone had beaten her (at 4-months-old), and broke her hip plate. She had metal staples in her foot, and a rubber band wound tightly, several times around the end of her tail, to the point it was dead and falling off. Who wouldn’t rescue her? I nicknamed her “Jesus kitty" because she's so close to heaven, and she really is an angel sent from heaven. She's a wonderful pet, and companion. I know I’ll have a tough time watching her undergo testing next week, and I’m very nervous, scared, worried, and sad too. Please think positive thoughts about my Alley, and please say a prayer on her behalf. We leave to U.C. Davis for treatment next week. Thanks to my friends who have offered their emotional, spiritual, and monetary support! Wish us luck next week. Hugs, kisses, and meows, Alley.
