As a celebration of black history month, this weekend focuses on artistic contributions made through urban street culture. Guy Jam supports men to become creative and self-expressive through the art of dance. Guy Jams are leader-focused workshops meant to inspire and create vintage innovative dancers, challenging leads and spawning a movement for more men into the Jazz dance community. Knowing your roots is the key to progress. For vintage Jazz dances to stay alive we need to preserve the dance and music culture by creating more leads that are true to their own style and self-expression. Participating in Guy Jams will promote vintage dances and encourage leads to new dance styles, new moves, and improvisational skills. Dig on this man, here tis........
