i am a new mexico based drummer and percussionist. i have been playing drums for over 10 years and studied percussion at the university of colorado in colorado springs.
i mainly play roots music (mostly acoustic based) and jazz, but also have played rock, ranchero, experimental, noise, and reggae.

You're not just "another drummer," man, you're Cahalen! Everytime I talk about you, I always mention that you are one of the best drummers that I've ever heard. Good drummers are difficult to come across. It's even more difficult to find drummers who are AMAZING and also wonderful people. So you are quite a rarity, my friend. Anyone would be very lucky and blessed to play with you.
I'm surprised that you are looking for drumming gigs, I thought that you were kicking it with your fabulous guitar and voice. But whatever you do is cool, anyway. : ) I second Edith's sentiments, good luck! I wish you much success and happiness.
