who is
![]() My name is Lisa, at first that's about everything you need to know. I'm a Media Designer and Photographer graduating from university at the moment. To find out about who I am, keep browsing my MySpace and my webpage (by klicking on that tiny word HydeStreet up in the right top corner). Currently the webpage is in the making, so stay tuned. work Starting off with photography, my way through college lead me onto the paths of a broader way to work with images. I went from old school, analog photography with an old Rolleiflex and my beloved Canon EOS 500 (slr) to the pure joy of digital photography with my new love: my Nikon D300 (dslr). However, I still love the analog way of working, it has a very pure and raw touch to it I don't ever want to miss. I settled into the world of digital postproduction quite well so far. Photoshop and Aperture are my best friends among numerous others. I even went to play around with video for a while, and if you want feel free to check the results here on my profile. I won't be including these videos on my webpage because it's not what I really do for a living. If you want to check out those two which, in my humble opinion really are worth showing, click HERE. I even embarked on a trip into the 3-dimensional world, which still leaves me awestruck and amazed at the same time sometimes. I do know how most of these things work (as in - I have heard a lot but tried just a few), but to be honest - I have a lot of respect for those who really master this field of digital art. Nevertheless, I use Maya, the 3D program, from time to time, helping myself with whatever I am able to make use of. I also designed this MySpace along with Ray Wilson's MySpace, plus the design for my own webpage and the blog which will launch shortly. On my blog I will present works in progress as well as some of my ideas for upcoming projects and other blurbs. Be sure to check it out every once in a while. Focusing on interface design I embrace the 2-dimensional world though. I never seem to stop learning, and I love it. Drawing and sketching lifts me from the traditional, tangible level of art to the next where digital and analog art come together to form something entirely new. Welcome to my world. Feel free to browse the galleries, and let me know what you think. I just uploaded a small selection of my photos and digital work, since the broader range will be presented on the webpage once it's finished. I hope you will excuse the tagging on the photos. I usually don't like this myself, but since I make money with those I have to in order to prevent copyright violations.
