A guitar, a strong folksy voice the company of friends is all I need.
Movies
I can never remember names of actors or names of movies... don't get much time to watch them, but I like mysteries, fantasies and a good drama if it has parts that are funny, makes me cry and has a happy ending.
Television
Television cuts into my fishing time.
Books
Dusty old books.
A few of my favorite authors: James Fenimore Cooper, Dante Alighieri, Jane Porter, Randal Arthur, Mark Twain, Esther Forbes, Sir Walter Scott, Shakespear. Pre WWII children's literature is the best!
Heroes
Those who overcome adversity and retain their optimism. My heros are survivors, living
and dead...they know who they are.
Watched a show on bass fishing & immediately thought of you. Any great / good catches lately?
I've been cooking up a storm ... become domestic again ... and lately I've been sewing ... making baby crib items ... the kids come to visit in about 2 1/2 weeks ... so I want to make certain the baby has a bed to sleep in ... LOL ... if I left it to the Waltster this child would probably end up in a Rubbermaid bin ... rotflmbo!
Hey Nice Lady ... Did you telephone me on the 9th of January? LOL ... by the time the phone rang that night I had been awake abour 40 hours and I had fallen asleep about 30 minutes before the call came in.

I'm sorry this is a 'mass-message' ... but I need to touch base with about 50 people.
I saved this guys life yesterday, I was fishing and looked over and a guy was lying face down, unconsious in 2 ft of water, I jumped in and threw him upon the bank. He had fainted fell in and bashed his head and face on a rock the size of a football, just under the surface. I cant believe he was back out there today and catching fish!! What a tough OL Dude! The wounds are from smashing his head and face on a rock that was jus under the surface of the water!
I'm glad to discover a few folks read my bulletins ... LOL!
We're doing great here ... just loving the cooler weather. We'll be celebrating Thanksgiving at Susan's and then we'll all meet at my home for dinner on Christmas eve.
Tomorrow the Wino Wednesday crew meets up to create more fun.
What's new with you & Mr. Fish? Have you been in any tournaments lately? How are the kids doing?
