I don't think I have heroes. I have people I admire. I dont think anyone is truely perfect therefore defeating the meaning of a hero. I think admiring people is good enough.
Here are some (Not All) people who have had a profound influence in my life:
Why I Admire The Above:
Anti-Flag: What an amazing band. They find a way to not only be political, but be catchy at the same time. Not to mention how worldly aware they are. These guys send a message to anyone who listens. Whether you like them or not you have to agree they are opening minds all around the world.
Autopilot Off: These guys were one of the most talented bands I've ever met and among the nicest. Completely down to earth and a blast to be around. Phil (drummer) was a very big influence to me, he was a driving force to make our band better. Mainly in his encouraging words. Although we only hung out a few times these guys have left an impression that will last a lifetime.
Aretha Franklin: Her voice is powerful and amazing. Need I say more?
Butch Walker: Musical genious, and amazingly talented as a singer/writer/producer. What cant this guy do? Just amazing and awe inspiring.
Danny Casler: The most heartful guy I know. He's truely and original. Passionate, driven, compassionate, strong, funny, among many others. He's been so good to me and my band since the moment we met him. There's endless words to describe him. He's given me strength through hardtimes, and is truely the essence of the word survivor. He has more strength and determination than I ever seen in one person. Though he never forgets to give back. Just an all around amazing person.
Glady's Knight: "Midnight Train To Georgia" is one of my all time favorite songs. I just love her voice...simply amazing.
Grounded: They're like my brothers. Some of the nicest guys I know. They have politically charged music, but that doenst consume every ounce of their being. They're all really diverse individuals, and I love all four of them for immensly diverse reasons.

Ian Mackaye: Straight-edge, Minor Threat, Fugazi, Dischord Records. Need I say more?
Jimmy Fallon: Lately this guys has gotten me through life. If I'm having a hard time, I turn on my iTunes and listen to his songs, or I'll watch old SNL skits, interviews, etc. on YouTube. He's given me a whole new outlook on life, just by being the person he is. He's completely down to earth, and yet has accomplished so much. He's awoken my inspiration. I owe a whole lot to this guy, and I havent even met him. One day though, and that day will be a joyus day.
Mrs. Jonas: This woman just leaves me in amazement. If I could grow up and be half the woman she is, then I would be an amazing mom. She's just such a amazing woman. She taught all four of her sons amazing morals. She's also just such a kind, and carefree woman, who every night is still in amazement of everything that has happened in her and her sons life. I think her attitude towards life could benefit everyone. All I have to say is forget Oprah, Mama J is the way!
MxPx: Amazing music, amazing guys. Crazy funny. They dont act like rockstars, they're just normal people, and I love that. I've never been to an MxPx show and been disappointed, they always give it their best. They're just great at what they do.
NSYNC: I know I'm such a poser, but whatever. This was the first group I reallly got into. I was obsessed with them. I learned all their dance moves and every vocal line. I would lock myself in my room to learn different harmony parts to their songs. As weird as it seems, I truely believe that I wouldnt be as good at singing as I am without them.
Stevie Wonder: I admire his talent and ability to write the most amazing songs. I find such inspiration in all he's done.
I Admire anyone who works hard to accomplish their dreams, regardless of what people say. People who strive to make a difference in the world and fight for what they believe in. People who work to make this world a better place for other people. Anyone with strength, courage,and hutzpa.

I could sit here all day and try to write out words to describe myself, but nothing would say it all. I'm a girl who lives music. I'm a singer, songwriter, I love to perform, promote, and go to concerts. My life is tainted and colored completely by music. There's a never ending soundtrack of lyrics, melodies, beats, etc flowing through my mind all the time. I live my life with a heart for God, but have an extremely hard time even thinking of forcing my views upon someone else. I'm all about acceptance. I don't care about your race/sexuality/religion just as long as you're a person with good character and intentions. I'm extremely close with my family, and no matter how dysfunctional we are I know they're always there to fall back on. I'm Straight Edge, always have been, and always will be. I care about the world and the creatures in it. You can call me a tree hugger, environmentalist, animal rights activist, as I am all of those. I'm constant evolution. I try with the biggest of intentions to learn something new every day. I feel as though the human mind is only limited by itself and the more you know the bigger difference you can make in the world. That's my mission, to change the world. I know that's impossible, but I'm optimistic in creating a movement towards it. I know some amazing people and they ultimately color my world and make it the wondrously complicated amazing life it is. I love to laugh but I'm never ashamed to cry. I give way more than I should and sometimes don't know when to give up. I'm a stubborn, driven, passionate gal with larger than life dreams just hoping to one day take the gold. You're going to pretty much either love me or hate me; there's really no inbetween. But I am who I am, take it or leave it.
