About me:
Caitlain's Corner is a sex education web site. A "real" sex education web site, designed to counter the influences of the silly "abstinence-only" sex education that is foistered upon many of this country's teenagers every year.
It is billed as "An Owner's Manual For Your Sexuality" because that is what it is. It teaches you just about everything you need to know to be able to effectively manage your own sexuality. Your sexuality is one of the most intimate and critical components of what makes you who you are. It is your responsibility to know and understand what makes it work, how it works, and how you can manage it so that you are able to fully enjoy your own sexuality.

Over the next few months, I will be adding sections for parents, teachers and other professionals. Additionally, I intend to add my own curriculum, complete with lesson plans, tests, and perhaps even some form of "certification" once we get to that point.
Comments and suggestions for things that we can do to make the site more useful and/or beneficial are always welcome.

The mission of Caitlain's Corner is to provide legitimate, reliable sex education and information for teens and young adults. We don’t advocate that you have sex, but we provide you with the information you need to ensure that you are capable of making sound decisions about your own sexuality. We believe exploration of sexuality is a natural and healthy part of growing up, and the “just say no” mantra of the Abstinence-Only lunacy is detrimental to the health and safety of teens and young adults’ lives (and by extension, the health and safety of our society as a whole). We believe you must own your own sexuality, and the mission of this web site is to provide you with the tools and information to do just that.
