THE HISTORY!
16 year old Caitlyn Taylor Love is an exceptionally talented singer/songwriter/actress and dancer from Harlingen Texas. With very few outlets locally for performing, Caitlyn’s entertainment aspirations had her competing at the age of 10 in the Miss Texas Pageant in the Talent Division. Not only did she win the Talent Division, she was also crowned Miss Texas Jr. Preteen 2004. She was then invited in July 2005 to compete at IMTA New York where she won Miss Jr. Actress of the Year along with several other acting and singing awards. Caitlyn then moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed a lead role on MTV's “Punk'd” where she punked Pop Superstar Rhianna. She was also chosen out of the thousands of contestants across America to compete in the new NBC show “America's Got Talent”, which aired in June 2006 where she soared to the semi finals. A recent graduate of The School of Pop in Los Angeles, Caitlyn is featured as one of The Hollywood Hooligans and her song "Perfectly Impossible" is featured on the latest Hooligans Rock CD on S kooter Records.
THE FUTURE!
Never one to rest, she is busy working on her Master Demo after recently signing to Los Angeles based management Genuine Music Group (www.genuinemusicgroup.com) whose producer and songwriter clients have collectively sold over 140 miliion records. Her style of Rock based Pop incorporates an edgy rebellious flair reminiscent of the days of eighties female icons Pat Benetar and Joan Jett. A naturally gifted performer, she exudes stage presence well beyond her years. Stay tuned as she prepares the finishing touches on her new songs which will be featured here on her MySpace site!
