I love to read, mostly sci-fi, fantasy, a good mystery, and a little bit of romance. I love music. I play with my two kitties: Baby and Tigger. I enjoy cooking with my sweetie pie (he's a professional). I love TLC and HGTV, especially House Hunters and Flip This House. I enjoy movies, but only action and sci-fi, a "chick" flick isn't my cup of tea. I love fashion mags, read them cover to cover. I love my new toy, an Amazon Kindle. It is instant gratification for my reading fix.
Music
I like hard rock, heavy metal, some pop, disco, jazz, big band/swing, latin, and a little bit of everything else. I mainly listen to Rage Against the Machine, Kid Rock, Evanescence, Pink and Norah Jones to relax, and anything from Big Bad Vodoo Daddies to Ricky Martin to Godsmack on a daily basis, depending on my mood. About the only thing that I cannot stand is Hip-Hop and whiny country music.
Movies
My favorites are Dangerous Beauty, Grosse Pointe Blank, and any dance movie (especially Strictly Ballroom). I also love me some good sci-fi and action flicks.
Television
I love all of the Law & Order shows, any forensic or detective shows on A&E, TLC, Discovery, and Court TV. I am also a CNN-aholic. I loath Fox News, because frankly, news implies that they report factually on current events, while anyone who has ever seen it knows that it would in fact be more accurate to call it the Right Wing Propoganda Channel, since that is all it is. Yes, you guessed it, I am a liberal.
Books
My favorite authors are, in no particular order: Laurell K Hamilton, Janet Evanovich, David Weber, Naomi Kritzer, Anne Bishop, Lisanne Norman, Marie V. Snyder, Sharon Shinn, Elizabeth Moon, Jacqueline Carey, Charlaine Harris, Charlotte Bronte, and Pablo Neruda. I love discovering new authors and trying to list all of the excellent authors I read would take all day. I own (literally) over 1000 books. My newest toy is the Amazon Kindle, which I LOVE, but may be hard on the wallet. I can buy a book and have it downloaded in under 2 minutes, OOOHHHH.
