So, I created dolls who bring me happiness, and wrote stories about them because they bring me joy. Enjoy life. I'm also a life-long student of Astrology. I'm Libra sun, Scorpio moon, Leo rising.

The sound brings thoughts to her mind. She has been a resident of the land since the beginning of time. No one can leave the land without the Queens key seal of approval. NO ONE. It's a rule.

What Mythological Figure are you?
You scored as Angel.
Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree.
They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion.
They live among humans without being seen.
They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching.
Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost.
They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc
and many unneeded questions.
Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.

The Sha Bebe are cloth dolls who live in an enchanted land that is surrounded by trees in the sugarcane fields of Louisiana. They have lived in the sugarcane fields since the beginning of time. The story is considered adult folklore, but can be read by humans of all ages. The legend began with my grandpa telling me that all of the good dolls come from the sugarcane fields.

Do you believe? --- is 88 pages with photos.
Cajun Fairies --- is 220 pages with photos.
The Wizard of Swamp Alley -- is 216 pages with photos.
Genre: Teen/Adult Fantasy/Fiction
Swamp Alley is a portal between this side and the other side.
A Cajun Wizard named Antoine Clement Hebert, lives near Swamp Alley which is behind The Land of Sha Bebe. He keeps balance between this side and the other side, by playing his fiddle, but he was kidnapped by “them”.
Today, the Ghosts of Swamp Alley protect the ones on this side from the opposite presence who occupy the other side.
Who or what is this presence, and where is this place that has the Wizard trapped?
Could he be in the dreaded Land of Lackluster?
Marie La Vie yelled, "Oh Moi gris-gris," at the thought of Antoine being there, and she explains this other place very well. It's a place that has always existed all over the world ---- even today, it still exists.
Sometimes, the presence of the other side may be near YOU.
The Wizard of Swamp Alley is centered around Halloween, when the veil between this side and the other side is at it’s thinnest, and the Wizard is gone. Who has the knowledge to return the Wizard to his homeland, so that the Sha Bebe dolls can leave for the famous Halloween run of the quilts that’s elaborately put on by Madame Poulette every year?
It’s a chilling read, yet still entertaining. And as always, it’s
Dedicated to the Spirit of Louisiana

There's a NEW character

His name is, Antoine Clement Hebert.
Antoine has the mark of a Cajun Wizard!
What is this mark that identifies him as a Cajun Wizard?

Some reviews from "Cajun Fairies":
-------
This is a MUST read! I got the book for my 12 y/o niece (she has all the dolls and the first book), but I could not put it down or give it to her until I finished reading it (all in one sitting). Great job, BeB! Can't wait for the next one! From one Cajun lady to another -- "You do us proud!"
Karen Mayeaux --- Texas
-------
I found Mary Lynn Plaisance's books to be such a wonderful and entertaining read, and one that I, as an adult, took great pleasure in reading. I wholeheartedly recommend her books to everyone who loves a well-constructed story. Her books are bound to become a Louisiana classic.
Jerry Bolton -- Houma, Louisiana
-------
LOVE IT!! LOVE IT!! "I told you that your books were good!"
Pat Kolb -- New Orleans, Louisiana
-------
You've created a Cajun fairy land, like Walt created a Disneyland. That's the way I read it. Your characters feel like a Disney scene set in the sugar cane fields. Madam Plume is my favorite with the Queen and the Poulette a close second. I savored every page of your story. I give you 5 stars.
Lana St.Season--- Louisiana
-------
I love your creativity! Photographs of your characters in their environments work so much better than plain illustrations :) Keep weaving the threads of your wonderful creativity into a tapestry of magical tales, the pen is your loom, the paper your wool :)--In admiration :) Stuart Higginson -- The United Kingdom
---------------------
Mary I have read your book and I must say that it is a GREAT read!! What a story. Your descriptive narrative is second to none---I felt as though I were in the action the whole time. The "braided rug road"---what a visual!
Mary, thanks for all your hard work--all I can say is that it was worth it.
Craig Leonard -- Mississippi
-------
I read your book over the weekend. It's not just a Louisiana book. There are messages for everyone to read and learn in the words you wrote. You have a way of spreading many emotions which all blend in well at the right time. I'm now a devouted Doll Land fan.
Amanda Parker -- New Orleans, Louisiana

Happy Holidays! Hope you’re enjoying the season so far. Seems it has been quite some time since I spent some time on Myspace. I have been busy altering my website at www.tonycowger.com to reflect my newest efforts in the freelance and ghost writing markets and focus less on my own novel. Anyway, I hope the rest of your year is wonderful and that the new year holds all the abundance you want. If you or someone you know is in need of some writing help please send them my way at www.tonycowger.com. (For any help I receive from my Myspace friends I am offering a 10% finders fee to say thank you for helping out a friend so be sure to write and let me know in case your friend forgets to tell me. If you hire me yourself, that 10% would be taken off what you pay so, either way, you win.) I have experience in writing sales ads/presentations, non-fiction and, of course, fiction. Thanks and happy holidays!

The new issue is available for purchase at our website: www.absurdistjournal.com/current.htm
Issue #8 demonstrates why this journal has been hailed as the figurehead publication for absurd and surreal literature. Throughout these pages readers will find a man with an endless supply of money in his pockets, a nun who finds teeth in her ice cream cone, and a giant mechanized Michael Ironside stalking the streets of Galveston, Texas. Readers will also find the apocalypse as experienced by the cast of Friends and a race of chickens that enslaves a man and forces him to eat the last egg ever to be eaten. No one theme or tone dominates this issue. Some stories feature mindless violence or irreal nonsense. Others display sharp cultural satire or brain-tingling wordplay. At a time when most fiction serves up the standard fare of realism and common sense, issue #8 offers a zany feast for the ravenous imagination.
Includes stories by Sam Pink, Blake Butler, D. Harlan Wilson, Rhys Hughes, Ofelia Hunt, Cameron Pierce, Mike Young, Matthew Simmons, Darby Larson, Aaron Sitze, and Adam Breckenridge.
