If you know me, you know I'm a computer/techno geek, nerd, or dweeb, whatever term you want to use. I have a minor in Computer Science (yeah my major was Theatre, go figure), and always want to be working on my computer or using some sort of technology. I can tell you how to do just about anything in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access without looking (yeah that helpdesk experience pays off). I program webpages and love creating solutions to problems using programming. I am geek and I am proud.
Okay, I guess I'm a little more homebody than I used to be:
Crafts -
If you can't tell by my slideshow, I do cake decorating
Knitting (I only pick this up in wintertime, and have never finished a project...hmmm)
Scrapbooking
Card-making
I love reading and learning about things. The library is my friend. In general I usually have 5 or more items out at a time, ranging from fiction, non-fiction, books on CD, music CD's, and movies on DVD.
I enjoy going to the movies and watching TV but have been soo busy lately that it's dropped way down
Things I like to do but don't anymore for some reason or another:
Theatre - watching or being a part of it
Live music
Going out (ie going to bars or the like) and dancing (note: this is not 'clubbing' like it seems to be here in Phoenix area - this is a love of going to little bars around my college or downtown Roanoke, VA where there is music playing, and dancing with a group of girlfriends)
Throwing parties
Music
Dave Matthews
Counting Crows
Those are and have almost always been my 2 favorites. Lucky for me they are both still making albums...
Others in my pile of MP3's (generally, I say I listen to everything except country, but I make exceptions even there):
Shawn McDonald
Phil Wickham (this is Grace's fault!)
Chris Tomlin
Bare Naked Ladies
David Gray
Chris Rice
Coldplay
Dixie Chicks (early stuff only - I worked their Fly concert, not the greatest live I must say)
Soundtracks - love 'em - currently Grey's Anatomy, many of the OC soundtracks, and Moulin Rouge in the playlist
Rob Thomas
'old' stuff like Smashing Pumkins early stuff I just pulled out of my old CD's
The Beatles...one of the best!
Van Morrison
Norah Jones
OAR
just adding Motion City Soundtrack to my list...Jonathan and I saw them one of the first times we hung out and I just love 'em!
John Mayer
Movies
Movies I will watch over and over (movies that I like or that I've seen would be wayyyy too long to list out):
All 3 Lord of the Rings
The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe
Star Wars I-III was awesome
Boys and Girls (hmm, guilty pleasure)
Keeping the Faith (another guilty pleasure)
50 First Dates (I will watch this anytime I see it playing on TV, which is probably once a month)
X-Men (all)
Lara Croft Tomb Raider (both)
hrm....I just noticed a lot of sequels in this listing....weird
Television
I make sure are TIVO'd:
The Office (one of the best funniest shows EVER!!!)
Grey's Anatomy
Heroes (newest fav)
Any Food Network cake challenges, or Ace of Cakes
Books
Of course, I like to kick it with God and read my Bible...

About me:
If you wanna learn more about me, I've archived what used to be in this space, into this blog.
I went through a huge life-change during most of last year (2006), and have just been learning about how to be me since then. I joined Pure Heart Church last year. I am involved with the drama group. I have also been going to SomaNorth at Scottsdale Bible Church on Sunday nights, to keep up with people more my age and situation in life. I love it!!! My work is keeping me busy right now, and I love the company and people I work for, though it's a little crazy and hectic because we are constantly changing and going through huge growing pains.
I do cake decorating on the side as a hobby/business, so if you're interested in a custom-designed and -built cake for your next event, check out the slideshow below or visit CakeJoy.bravehost.com or view the lot of my photos at picasaweb.google.com/cakejoy
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone that I know! If you don't know me or have some 6-degrees connection, don't bother to add me without some kind of message. If you know me, I love to add and talk to old and current friends. I have been searching for all the names I can think of from old jobs, college, high school, camp, etc. I am having a blast using myspace to connect with old friends!

Below is a smashup of clips from my almost favoritest episode of my favorite show, The Office. My most favoritest episode so far has been "The Merger" and if I see clips from that one, I'll have add that as well.

I got your phone message last night, it was Wednesday. I'm almost completely unreachable on Wednesdays between 5 and 9. No, not married, yet. Working on it though. I have a pirate beard.
