About Cake on Cake

CAKE ON CAKE is the band of 27 years old HELENA SUNDIN. She grew up in a small village in the norht of sweden and is currently living in Stockholm were she also works with fine arts. She has been playing different instruments since childhood and started to record sounds that grew into pop-songs in june 2004. CAKE ON CAKE is a solo-project but when playing shows she is backed up by her lovely band: ANDREAS GABRIELSSON on double bass and electric bass and KRISTINA SUNDIN on the metallophone and backup vocals. CAKE ON CAKE signed to American label DESOLATION RECORDS in 2005 and has so far released: "I SEE NO STARS"november 2005, "I GUESS I WAS DAYDREAMING" february 2007, EP "SUN-CHAIRS" (on french net-label RAIN MUSIC ), october 2006, remix album "NO HOLIDAY PLACE" september 2007.CAKE ON CAKE will release her third album "Hymns I Remember" november 18 on American label SLEEPY RECORDS.
