   About Calabash Blues
The Calabash Blues & Boogie Band is a band steeped in the musical tradition of roots music. Members include The music is based largely on the Texas/Mississippi/Chicago blues of the 40’s & 50’’s, emulating such artists as Elmore James, Freddie King, Howlin’ Wolf, Albert King, and B. B. King just to name a few. It is a 6-member group consisting of 2 lead guitars, organ/piano, bass, drums, and lead vocalist.
