Calamity Menagerie hail from all over the garden state. Current and former members have also been members of the bands The O>matics, The Tea & Whiskey, Earth! It's Wonderful To See You, Kohuff, MORB, Full of Fancy, The Break Evens, Mazeffect, Tonight We Dance, Fuzzy Navel, The Opposites, and The Ergs.

Calamity Menagerie are a musical entourage that is no stranger to the New Jersey music scene. Their music mixes the usual guitar, bass, drum lineup with xylophone, accordion, and other assorted various instrument making their sound anything but usual. They have an EP out on Danimal Records called "Tom Devil's New Year", which features songs from the full length movie of the same name that is also available on DVD, a 14 song split CD with Scruff's former band Kohuff (7 songs each) called "Supermarket Platypus", and will be releasing a digital EP titled "What Could Possibly Go Wrong" on September 9, 2009. The "What Could Possibly Go Wrong" EP was Produced, Engineered, and Mixed by Matt Naimoli and Jeff Kalemba at Canyon Studios in Toms River, NJ and mastered by John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Midtown) at Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, NY

Calamity Menagerie has played with tons of bands including: Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Streetlight Manifesto, Jason Webley, Kevin Devine, Kiss Kiss, Corn Mo, The Burden Brothers, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, The AKAs, Voltaire, Just Surrender, Against All Authority, Person L, Suburban Legends, Patent Pending, The Feverfew, Shira Girl, Julz-A, Outsmarting Simon, Hidden in Plain View, Houston Calls, and many more.
