Band Members	LIVE BAND: All songs written by Calder McLaughlin Nick Thornton plays second guitar at my live shows. We will have updated recordings available in the near future. Recordings currently available feature members of Replica.
Influences	I am a lover of all music as long as its emotive and dynamic.. I have listened to everything from delicate songsmiths to metal to grunge and indie rock bands to drum n bass to breakbeat/electronica to hip hop to chillout and soundscapes to classical to jazz and funk and dubstyles.. It all paints its own special colour and perspective on the vast canvas of lifes' experiences and helps us make sense of all that is within it.
Sounds Like	Myself and arguably other people too but make your own comparisons please.

About Calder

Calder has been an out and out singer-songwriter for about 3 years now, deciding to go it alone since moving to Leicester in late 2005. He has worked hard to establish himself locally as a well known artist and performer under many different guises. After too many false starts and too many "gigs to nothing" he has finally reverted to plan A and is taking time out to concentrate on putting together an album. This will feature himself on drums and looks to be the most relevant and honest piece of work to date. One of the most passionate and driven musicians you could meet, he sees this stage in his career as the most significant. Understanding the importance of having a proven fan base and a product to challenge those who shift huge units, he aims to seperate himself from the millions of "nearly made its" and "could've beens". The songs should speak for themselves. ALL UNSIGNED ARTISTS NEED IS THE REAL AND FORTH-COMING SUPPORT OF THOSE WHO ENJOY THEIR WORK."Outstanding voice and song-writing to match. Ian	Oct 18 2008 5:14 PM How are you doing? I hope everything is well. Don't worry about the band - when the time is right and the stars are in alignment (and other such BS) we'll have a chance to see what happens. We didn't make it down last Sunday but hope to be there for the one this week. I'm still going to threaten you with bringing the bass down to accompany some of your songs (or, for that, read 'ruin' some of your songs) but it's taking me longer than I wished for to come up with anything I'm happy with and that will do your tracks justice. I think it might be 'musicians block' with not playing for a little while. Ah well, let's hope that passes! Take care and I'll see you soon. Ian
