Mainly I like TV shows whose stories have a beginning, middle, and end, so I don't tend to watch episodic television until I know there is a series finale. I got burned big time on Deadwood. That being said, there are no greater television series than Kung Fu, Starsky and Hutch, - and Futurama
,except for the original Star Trek, Jonny Quest
, and Baretta
. Mr. Show with Bob and David was pretty funny, but it was canceled. Anybody ever see an early forensic detective show called UNSUB? That was good too. Canceled. Covington Cross? It was The Big Valley with three fourths of the cast of Excalibur. It lasted a week. How about Manimal and Automan? How about Misfits Of Science (incidentally, the guy that created that now does Heroes)? All well ahead of their time. All canceled. The Lone Ranger's pretty sweet
, as is The Cisco Kid and original Twilight Zone. Rounding out the lot I'd say Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Quantum Leap, Battlestar Galactica (both versions), Gatchaman, all of the DC Animated Universe (Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Justice League/Unlimited, Batman Beyond) Spongebob Squarepants, YuYu Hakusho, and the spectacularly funny and moving

About me: I'm a writer born in Indiana and raised in Illinois by way of Chicago, undeserving of my two great kids and devoted, amazing and beautiful wife

One of my short stories, Killer Of The Dead is appearing in the current issue of Murky Depths magazine in the UK, so that's something, plus I wrote the official backstories for a trio of minor Star Wars characters, one of whom is being turned into an action figure in 2008 (read me blog for details). I've also written a short story for Starwars.com entitled Fists Of Ion and is everything you'd ever want to know about boxing in the Star Wars universe.
