Born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio - home of Dean Martin, Jimmy "The Greek", and Traci Lords. B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from The Ohio State University. A tenured Community College professor until I gave it all up to be part of the the first main stage cast of The Second City, Cleveland. It's been about 14 years of stand-up, indie films, improv and sketch comedy, radio DJing, and all around trying to do some good with with like-minded friends. I'm still teaching part-time, both college-level Mathematics as well as improv for acting, communication skills, creativity, and team-building. There's more here: www.caleodis.com

By day I'm a Math Professor, by night an actor/comedian/improviser/DJ/etc etc etc.
Any work would be great. Indie films are fun. My long-term goal for the moment is to get on a sitcom. I'd make a great brother-in-law, wacky neighbor, asshole boss, or any supporting character.
Who I'd like to meet: Artists or Agents, Performers, Casting Directors, Anyone who loves improv, Writers, Comics, Anybody who'd care to hang.
Hi George! They talked about you on CD101 this morning. I thought that was pretty cool, since I sort of not really know you. But I do know people who know you. That counts, right? ;)
I said it on Facebook, I'll say it again here (slightly different phrasing):
This is from friends of mine, so there is a little bias, but it's feedback on last night's shows (they saw Big News, Wunnaweeks and Pop):
"We had a great time last night. All three shows were great but for me the highlight was the spa day. The interplay of the charts and actors was perfect."
Thank you for choosing my little sketch for our Best Of show, and giving us our wonderful staging that made it its best possible!
