Our fans most commonly compare us to Jump Little Children, as well as The Barenaked Ladies.
Calico is emerging from Atlanta having a singer-songwriter/folk rock sound but with hints of traditional american, irish, and french music. Catchy lyrics blended with rich vocal harmonies along with the use of uncommon instrumentation capture a fresh sound that can be appreciated by anyone.
Calico has two EP's for sale. Each have 5 songs, each cost only $5. If you are interested in purchasing one or both, send us a message via Myspace and we'll get them to you or you can just come to one of our shows.
"ChangethEPace" - 2005 release. Recorded at Ledbelly Studio with a full band.
"The Chamberlain Sessions" -2006 Release. Recorded acoustic at Calico Studios.
