“Inspired from the Throne Room of God, we are called to affect a dying world. We have been commissioned by our Creator to worship through our lifestyles, and with the gift of song we have been Called II Worship.”
Cincinnati, Ohio natives Troy Culbreth, Isaiah Freeman IV, Fred James V, Lamont Hill, and Kenny West joined together as Called II Worship in the summer of 2005. They quickly began creating an unusual buzz across Midwest and Southern states. These gifted young men served the Lord by singing in their local churches and in ministry with Cincinnati’s Vessels of Praise Worship & Arts Choir under the direction of Cheri Wilson. All are also active members of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs & Choruses, Inc. Called II Worship has shared the stage with such artists as Ricky Dillard, Donald Lawrence, Karen Clark-Sheard, Stephen Hurd, Melonie Daniels, and Rodney Posey. The group will be featured artists on Darwin Hobbs' new CD “Free,” to be released Summer 2008.
Called II Worship brings a very versatile sound that bridges the generations. By incorporating elements of gospel, jazz, blues, contemporary Christian with neo-soul, alternative and R&B into their repertoire, they have developed a distinctive sound which is rapidly growing in popularity. This eclectic mix of musical genres is evident in “Forever ” their independently produced CD, released January, 2008.
Called II Worship ministers the Gospel of the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ to the nations to win souls and restore a spirit of true worship.
