"OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD, your first episode. Naturalistic and believable dialogue, strong casting, good nuanced believable performances, massive amounts of intelligent drama and conflict. DAMN...I’m impressed!!! REALLY nice work here."

Hey Calling Home!! Greetings from New York City. Thanks for the ADD which I value. We're from different spectrums but its great to connect... You have great stuff going on. Have to go back again and check it out in more detail. Madooo.. The guy with the "BEATLES TRIBUTE ALBUM FROM INDIA"
Well I'm sorry to hear that your lead actor is no longer with the project. But the concept is so unique that I'm certain you'll find another lead soon. I really enjoyed the first show and look forward to seeing how the nuances in the story are affected by a different actor in the lead role!
I didn't realize that the deadline for submitting to the Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Lab was May 1. Oops! Missed it! But I wrote them and asked if they'd accept a late submission and they said, yes, as long as the application arrives by this Friday, May 9th.
i just wanted to thank you for being my friend here on myspace...hope that you enjoy the music and that you have great plans for the weekend....we are getting ready for our east coast album release party in atlanta....
A couple of reviews from friends of Emilio/Juan Carlos Pinedo!
========= Pam and I thought it was very compelling - We thought it was well written and it seemed very genuine and real. We look forward to your next webisode!

I just had a chance to sit and watch this. I actually watched it a of couple times. I want to know what happens next. I thought the entire crew did a great job in bringing a real life situation 'home'. For me, this web series would be a great way to become more knowledgeable about things going on in our world. It also gives me a sense of culture which I absolutely love. Ironically, Angelo, was concerned about his Dad - how did he fit in to the US, etc, (would his Dad get deported). Even the conflicting opinions between brothers and how real these issues are - - but most importantly, how this family sticks together.
These were a couple of anonymous comments on the Google site that I wanted to make sure people saw. Keep them coming!
David
================= "Angelo's turmoil is both palpable and infectious; his voice resonates with it and his brother Diego's confident demeanor is a subtle contrast where many would make it almost cartoonish. It's awkward in the same way LIFE is awkward. This isn't glorifying anything -- it's rough and raw and real. Where's the kudos button on this thing? I can't wait to see where it leads us."

"Interesting portrayal of a young soldier in the midst of two battles.... one in baghdad and the other with himself and the love he has for his family and country... The cast does a great job with providing this snapshot of time where strength tries to overcome the sadness we have for troops fighting for not only us but for the rest of us... Cant wait to see the next episode!! Great job!!"
