Calling Corners is a band comprised of seasoned musicians from the Evansville area. Tired of weekend after weekend in the local "cover band" scene, the founding guitarist/songwriter Matt Camp, took the songs he had been penning for the last several years and set out to find some local musicians who had the same vision as himself. It was very difficult to find but well worth it. These five guys share the understanding of what it takes to work as a unit and make things happen in music, and all share the desire to make that happen. After a short time together, Calling Corners has already shared the stage with such national acts as Theory of a Deadman, Egypt Central, Bobaflex, 10 Years, Drowning Pool, and Pop Evil!
