My new project: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Radar vs Wolf . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
For the past few years I've had the pleasure of playing alongside some of Miami's finest musicians and great friends, including: Arik Dayan, Deryl Speilman, Ben Scalise, Max Gonzalez, Tony Aguirre, and Zach Schwartz, just to name a few. Together we released 2 EP's and toured around this great nation as much we could. In previous bands I've toured the USA and hope to continue that with CIR.
In the summer of 2009, I relocated to southern California where I started a new project with a really good musician named James Bratton. Click the picture above if you'd like to give us a listen. Thanks

Miami New Times (July 14 2009)
"Not too long ago, Tom Gorrio hung up the towel on Call It Radar in order to take his solo work on the road. Well, he did just that, but the power of Call It Radar still came back to bite him in the seat of his pants. Thus, now we have a nice new EP boasting a new set of musical backers for Gorrio. Max Gonzalez (bass) and Deryl Spielman (drums/percussion) round out the rhythm section while Ben Scalise lends keys. The title track has — seriously — a Cameo feel to it, and we've heard "My Reggae Samba Jam" on other Gorrio recordings. The real fun here begins with the quirky "While I'm in Your World," the horn- and Spanish-driven "Never Pretend," and the assertive closer, "Keep Waiting." Knowing Gorrio's prodigious output, though, we won't be waiting for too long." - Abel Folgar
