MANNY BIO
Born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, 19-year-old Manuel “Manny” Alcantara is a rising star in the world of hip-hop. Pulling from influential artists such as Ne-Yo, Fabolous, and Timberland, Manny has been working since 2001 to create a sound all his own.
At the young age of twelve, Manny began writing his own material. Soon after he began building his current in-home studio and by the age fourteen he began recording his own material. In the studio and on tape Manny is a young artist to be reckoned with. His songs can best be described as a perfect blend of energy and emotion. The past seven years have been spent working on and perfecting both his lyrics and his vocals.
But the place Manny finds his greatest passion is in live performance. He began honing his performing skills at parties and local clubs. As his popularity and fan base began to skyrocket he began appearing on flyers alongside other hit local artists like Mitch and Nawlage. Today Manny is considered a seasoned stage professional. His stage persona has the uncanny ability to simultaneously touch and entertain.
While his friends were out partying and having a good time Manny has been constantly working on perfecting lyrics and vocals. He has spent his teenage years with his eye on the prize. His growth is apparent to anyone following his career. To those just catching on to Manny be sure to check out his music.
