What's up MySpace? My name is Duane, but you can call me "Roger" (FAQ:Why "Roger"?). Within the open mic scene of Houston, TX (and between the years of 2004 and 2006), I went by the stage name "Dirty Roger". I am a business owner, an independent contractor currently involved in Houston's local logistics industry. I am also a musician, artist, web / graphics designer, blogger, bar hopper, coffee lover, sushi connoisseur and at times, a party animal.
Many of my closest friends describe me as a very easy going person that virtually gets along with anybody. People say that I'm goofy, funny, friendly, flirtatious, witty, spastic and hyperactive. Some people wonder if I ever get bored. I am also known to be very clever, cunning, wise, intelligent, imaginative, creative, down-to-earth, and humble.
Don't get me wrong, I can also be very shy and insecure at times. However once I get to know you, I can be very obnoxious.... heheh
I sometimes tend to be very sarcastic, arrogant, vindictive, mysterious and unpredictable. It's a natural self-defense mechanism. I can also hold grudges that can last from 2 hours to 8 years (and some of you know this) depending on how badly I'm disrespected, lied to, or falsely accused.
I listen to all types of music. But I mainly listen to rock alternative, punk, ska, reggae, dub, electronic, trip-hop, trance, jungle / drum & bass, hip-hop, etc.
As a musician, making my own music and writing my own songs has always been the best way of expressing myself. I can play a few music instruments; guitar, bass, piano, drums. I have a few multi-track recordings of my songs and a few live recordings. And yes, I do play at select parties, get togethers and a few open mic events. Currently I'm on my own endeavors in the music industry.

After the Journal Recovery Project 2005 (the project that relaunched at least 800+ of my journal entries manually from my permanently suspended LiveJournal Account into my DeadJournal Account), I was using my MindSay blog as my random blog. Whatever junk I was posting then, started to receive some kind of attention. Soon I discovered that there was a high potential of interactivity that existed in a very young social networking site.
For at least 365 DAYS (May 1, 2005 to April 31, 2006), I posted an entry in my MindSay blog regardless of its security level. It was something I didn't think I could do, but I did it anyway.
Real-life's inevitable drama slowly caught up to me, to the point where it prevented me from finding time to blog and interact in MindSay. I took a long hiatus from blogging in MindSay...
...so, blah blah blah blah cut the fucking crap! For another 365 DAYS (I'm not promising anything), your so-called "Sir RawJah" returns to MindSay.com with a vengeance.
Though some of the features many liked in my MindSay blog, a few things will be added as well:

Song of the Day: I'm not THAT stuck in the 90's. These entries will include music videos and more.
MindSay Forums: I promised the founders that I will be a good moderator... heheh

p.s. For those MindSay users who speculated stories about my hiatus, I did NOT move to MySpace!!! I'm actually using MySpace to promote MindSay. I just added it into my agenda.

Wi-Fi Trio

At this present moment, I'm involved in a music / band project with Twee V. (lead vocals) and Colin T. (bass / recording) under the name Wi-Fi Trio. Our current activities include playing in open-mic nights and gigs at local venues in Houston, TX and The Woodlands area. Our MySpace page is STILL coming soon.
The Wi-Fi Trio project met its fate on June 14, 2007 due to Twee's relocation outside of the State of Texas. That same day, we attempted to record a video of some of our songs (coming soon!!!) using our camcorder.
Tweety, my best wishes goes out to you and your future! You're the best thing that has EVER happened in my music-life and my social life in general! Stay in touch!

Soul Fixx has been around since 2003, under a different name until Shanti L. (vocals / guitar) and Lisa H. (drums / percussions) asked me (guitar) and Jodie G. The band usually plays in local venues within the Houston area such as Fitzgerald's, The Vintage Bar, and Chances Bar.

Out of the spontaneous blue, my friends and I decided to drive up and down Westheimer Rd. to check out the usual (and illegal) street racing scene @ Westheimer (Houston, TX). It just so happens that I had my video camera with me. We took a few footages while we were there.
At this moment, while we are in the planning process of figuring out what, when, where, how and why; I created this trailer. This is rather incomplete, like a rough draft of some sort.
