Rock. Alternative. Acoustic. Strong Metallica and Creed influence. Passionate. Heavy Alice In Chains influence. Energetic. These are all terms that have been used to describe Calloused. This four piece band based in a rural area east of Cincinnati, OH is coming on strong. After Nathan Jeffries and Caleb Davidson formed the band some six years ago and having been playing with the current lineup since early 2008, they already released their 2009 debut, "The Distance Between Us". With headlining shows at Covington, Kentucky's Madison Theater, landing a slot on the Cincinnati stop of this year's CrueFest, and headlining the 2009 Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Fireworks, they are taking the regional music scene by storm. With songs driven by Nathan Jeffries' solid, energetic drums paired with Caleb Davidson's thick guitars and catchy melodies with attention-grabbing lyrics sung by himself and Justin McCleese, and Jason Zeuch's flowing bass, the music community is noticing. With radio support from Cincinnati's 102.7 WEBN and 96Rock Calloused is keeping a strong presence. Thanks to their amazing fans and supporters, these guys are fueled to go the distance.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
