I have played in the bands 'Desert Monkey', 'Djevara' and 'Soma' and performed all around the UK and in Italy, France and Holland. I played bass for Djevara's latest album, which is available from all good record outlets and probably some bad ones too.
My current projects include anything on this page and the two-piece band 'Publication' which is linked to in my top 8 friends.
Got my tickets for JL&TJJJ on the upcoming NME tour yesterday. I don't endorse that rag at all, but it's a pretty sweet lineup. If I bump into Joe I'll give you a mention!
As for In Rainbows...I love what I've heard. Had my laptop nicked way back in September, so haven't been able to listen to any MP3s. Police found it tho, should be be getting it back soon. And there's no excuse now it's out on Proper CD. I just remember it being on a loop round a mates house and falling deeply in love. Make sure you track down the second disc, so good stuff on there too.
Have to have a proper catch up soon. I've got little reason to go back to Colchester now, but will let you know when I next am. And if you're ever gigging up this way then let me know!
So, Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong, then. I saw "former Pipettes drummer" and "part time actor" and thought "Cal's cousin". Doing a bit well for himself int he? They've passed the dancefloor test this end. Might be seeing them in Leeds in a couple weeks time.
Anyway, what you up to these days? I got out of Spoons, you'll be glad to hear, and have started working for a music website, you will no doubt be gladderer. www.numu.org.uk. Slowly taking over the day to day running of things. It's schoolkids stuff, but some of them are annoyingly talented.

Alright mate, alas I won't be able to join you, I moved to Leeds last weekend so Essex is even more of a trek! Pretty skint at the moment too, deposits, first months rent, lots of gin, you know how it is. Hope all's good with you? First B&R I'll be missing for a goodly while.
