Terry and Steve Sark, Dave Martin and Lane Rainwater have so much to be thankful for. Not only has the Lord Jesus touched each one of their lives and saved them, He has blessed each one of them with a wonderful wife and a very close and loving family. With all of that being said, there is another great joy and blessing in their lives and that is God allowing them to each be a part of the Southern Gospel Quartet Calvary's Way.
Terry who sings baritone for the group, Steve who sings tenor, and Dave (lead) started singing together almost three years ago. In no time at all it went from singing every once in a while to nearly every weekend. All three of them felt that the Lord was calling them into this ministry and soon Calvary's Way was born. Since that time the Lord has opened many doors all over Georgia as well as in other Southeastern States. During this time they recorded their first CD and have received very warm responses from audiences wherever they go. God has certainly been good to these guys.
Now its only getting better with the addition of Lane Rainwater. Lane joins Calvary's Way singing the bass part. He has been around Southern Gospel music all of his life. His father Dempsey Rainwater was a well-known bass singer who sang with the Smile-A-While Quartet, Sego Brothers, Senator's Quartet, Dixie Rhythm Boys and several others. Lane says, as far back as he can remember there has been a quartet practicing in the living room and Mama making biscuits for them in the kitchen. He himself has sung through the years with several groups. Has a matter of fact, He and Terry sang together with The Accords back in the mid 80s. So when he called Terry and asked him if Calvary's Way needed a bass singer the guys jumped at the chance to get him. All of this came at the best time possible because they were putting the finishing touches on a new CD project Just His Name.
Just His Name is a collection of songs that will touch your heart. Terry originally wrote or co/wrote six of the songs on this project, and you can tell that God certainly had His hand on him when they were written. They each have a message that will minister to people no mater where they are in their walk with the Lord. The guys are very excited about this CD and are looking forward to sharing it with everyone they can.
They now feel that with Lane joining this ministry Calvary's Way is complete. Seeing these guys together you can tell that not only do their voices blend well, but they also enjoy being around each other very much. Their joy in the Lord is contagious and youll find yourself caught up in it. Their most sincere prayer however is that the Lord will use them in a mighty way to touch the lives of those who hear them.
If you have not had the chance to see these men in concert you have missed a blessing. They believe that God has brought them together for His Purpose and they cant wait to see what lies ahead. To find out more about each of them, check out their website at www.calvarysway.com.
