for this piece i used three instances of acloud and one noise gen (don't know which at the moment). i actually meant 'virtual FOOTsteps' :D, so that the listener can also get an impression of a specific underground texture as if somebody walked through for example a cave or something.
do you use any non-buzz slicer plugins or just stutters and buffers?

yapp, all was done in buzz. i was just playing around with granular synthesis when i recognized it's potential. i'm currently planning a series of (true) ambient pieces like the cave including massive panorama changes as well as 'virtual' steps and ground textures. do you work a lot with granular synthesis?
