CAMERON ‘CAMBO’ BARTOLINI- Born on November 23rd 1986...
Cambo was raised behind pianos and in front of audiences. His raw passion flows from him with a force, speaking through minor chords, heavy synths, hard drums, and lyrical talent. Cambo's life is constructed by words and music, he moves through passion, and creates from the heart.
Originally from the Bay Area, Cambo is an innovative producer, rapper/singer, musician and songwriter, eager to create, perform, and do business. Currently working out of Los Angeles and San Francisco, his career has ranged from jazz trumpet, slam poetry, theatre, hip-hop, and the blues, and his life revolves around his evolution as an artist.
Cambo's live performance is backed by his 7 piece band The Life. These talented musicians help to bring his recorded music to an entirely new level of feeling and energy. Cambo and The Life are currently playing shows all over California, and are recording a collection of songs set to release in January 2010 for free download.
In addition to his own musical works, Cambo has produced, written and engineered for several Bay Area and LA artists. Closely affiliated with Alexander Spit, Bo-Rat, Young Muprh and more, he is surrounded by emerging talent, and is widely respected by his peers.
