I started photography in 1994, in the 8th grade. I had a math teacher who was a photography buff. He set up a darkroom in one of our unused class rooms and began a photography club. I joined and from there my love for photography has done nothing but grow. Thanks Mr. Wonder!
While I started out just taking pictures of my friends and random objects, my work has continued to expand. I took general photography classes during high school at the school and at PCC. I began expanding into portrait work, landscapes, nature, and night photography in 1996-1997. I started doing sports photography in 1999 when I became the senior photographer for my high school year book. I began an internship with wedding photographer Theresa Flynn Cole in 2000 and went on my own shortly there after. I also began doing nude photography in 2001. I am always trying new forms and ways to expand my photography knowledge and creativity.
And now 12 years later from where I started, I have begun a new venture with Daniel James Productions. When Daniel and I met we became fast friends through our shared love and opinions about photography and are now a couple. Under his wing I have expanded my experience to now include female glamour photography and from there I have also bridged myself into male glamour, maternity, and promotional/ad photography.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHY: Daniel James Productions does all types of photography, but specializes in glamour photography with everyday people. We work with women from all walks of life - of every body type, age, and background, who come to us for the photos of themselves that they always dreamed of.

Let’s face it – most people are really apprehensive about having their photo taken. How do we get these great images with people who have never modeled?
What you see in our photography is the product of Daniel’s unique process of working with the client to achieve great images. It is a process that makes everyone who does it look and feel great about themselves, and guarantees great, sexy photos every time. To us, the Client comes before the photo, and our mission is to make their experience one of caring, personal and professional attention.
Our unique process is in multiple steps, starting with the client questionnaire (see blog). The Client Questionnaire enables our clients to decide and communicate their own preferences in the photography they want. Next, we meet with each and every client free of charge to tour our studios, and to provide counseling about how to get the most out of their shoot – including what to expect, how to prepare, and to give advice on topics such as hair, makeup and wardrobe.
The process doesn’t end there – it continues at the shoot. We do all of the posing, blocking and photo composition to ensure every person looks and feels their best. We give instruction on how to pose, and then help each person find the looks and image content that brings out their personality and individual beauty, as well as the image they want to portray.
Our clients go home with all of their deliverables that night. Most clients go home with 400 – 600 raw photos, and 30 – 60 photo-shopped, airbrushed, and corrected photographs. Those photos are ready to print. There’s no waiting.
