Cam Butler is a Melbourne (Australia) based composer, guitarist and member of semi-legendary instrumental trio, Silver Ray. Since 2003 Cam has written and produced 5 completely unique solo albums : Crazy Dreams (2003), Go Slow (2005), See (Symphony No. 1) (2006), Healing Feelings (2007) and the latest, Dark Times (Symphony No. 2). These albums feature dramatic and darkly, beautiful mini-symphonies; highly melodic, cinematic and deeply personal. They combine lush and emotive electric guitar, drums, atmospheric guitar loops and orchestral string sections.
He has formed The Shadows of Love Orchestra to perform these albums in concert -- strings, electric guitar, drums, double bass, loops -- exciting stuff.
