MySpace a place for friends

I used to have a rant about how boring computers are these days. But then I saw the "multi-touch" demo in my blog - damn! Okay, they're fun again. This week.

I like to cook, read, and watch the History Channel.

Damn near anything. My friends, of course - John, Joe, Jeff, Jim, Warren, Hilary, Beth.

Beyond that, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Billie Holiday, Blue Öyster Cult, Clawfinger, Danzig, Devo, Drain STH, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Genitorturers, Iced Earth, King Crimson, Klank, Otep, Liquid Tension Experiment, Oingo Boingo, Patsy Cline, Platypus, Puya, Rammstein, Rage Against the Machine, Shootyz Groove, Type O Negative. Last but not least - anything I haven't heard yet.

I can't listen to opera. I respect the talent, but it's just not my thing.

In general, anything except the latest over-rated, over-hyped hollywood drivel. Some favorites off the top of my head: Crash, Brick, Million Dollar Baby, American History X, Glory, Clerks, Office Space, Lord of the Rings, Fantasia, A Nightmare Before Christmas. (Yeah, some of those were over-hyped - nobody's perfect.)

I can't stand most television. I like documentaries though - Ken Burns' Civil War kept me glued for a week. The History Channel and Food Network are pretty consistently good. CSI doesn't treat me like a frakkin moron. Battlestar Galactica is good scifi.
