I have many many influences..... i guess i can start with Kyle Turner, Al Campbell, Kirk Whalum, Kenny Garrett, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane,
James Carter, Joshua Redman,Gerald Albright, and SO MANY OTHERS.
I am currently attending Westbury High School under the instruction of Kyle Turner and Al campbell. Being at Westbury has inspired me to become all i can be and has made me an over all better MUSICIAN! I have been playing for a while now, and in that little time i have learned ALOT. My saxophone of choice is the tenor saxophone. I love the tenor because you can have a fat round sound that fills the room, but can also have a bright tone. To me its just a all around better horn. I chose to play the saxophone because buzzing on a mouth piece and getting a steady tone is pretty hard for me. Another reason is because its sound. I decided i wanted to play saxophone in the 6th grade at Welch Middle School under the direction of Linda Stiegler. She is part of the reason i am who i am now!
