I'm a freelance guitarist in Brooklyn, NY. My own group is a jazz/funk organ trio (music heard on this page) with the very talented Brad Whiteley and Kenneth Salters. I also perform frequently with singer/songwriter extraordinaire Lauren Zettler. We just finished her new EP, which you can hear at her MySpace page. I'm also the guitarist and contributing composer for Collective Pursuit, a 9 piece jazz ensemble that performs a wide range of music written by it's members.
To find out when I'm performing with these groups or others, please check the calendar on my website.
Along with playing and writing music, I'm a contributing writer for MusicianWages.com, a website about the musician business. I started this website with my friend and fellow musician Dave Hahn. The website takes a pragmatic approach to the discussion about making a living as a musician.
For booking inquiries about live music, clinics, teaching, or lunch dates, please contact me through my website here so I'll receive an email (better for me than a MySpace message). Along with the groups I've mentioned above, I can contract various types of groups for specific events, or at the very least connect you with the right person. The groups I work with are all based out of New York City, so please note that appropriate performance and travel fees may apply.
And finally, all of my music is available at your favorite online music stores. It is all released independently by me, and your support goes a long way to help me continue making the music I love to share.

Hey Cameron! how are you? staying warm? yea, they are kind of like a godin but without the snyth access. they look like the semi hollow eclipses they made in the 90's with the cats eye. but they are acoustic electric with nylon strings. i saw one once and if i see another one i'm gonna buy it right away. have a good christmas! -Shawn
I've never played one of the ltd models. But i've always wanted one of those custom esp's with the bolt on neck. i like the nylon string electrics they made with the cats eye too. have you seen those?
