CAMIL(Chicago Area Midwest IL) Born in Kankakee Illinois a small town 50 miles south of Chicago stated to be the worse place to live in America by Places Rated Almanac,USA Today, Readers Digest and David Letterman. One of fifteen children. From the first day he learned to talk, music became his calling. He began writing at the tender age of 10 later recording his first underground album at 15. CAMIL has recorded 11 underground tapes and CDs since 98 and all together has sold over 20,000 records. CAMILS producer is Vudu which is the same producer that brought you Ludacris, Field mob and Jamie FoxxsGeorgia, including tracks for other major artist Chingy, R Kelly, Reuben Studdurd, Young Guns, Shawnna, Do or Die, EightBall and MJG, just to name a few. CAMIL has expanded his fan base by getting rotation on Power 92(Columbus, MS),Power 92(Chicago), WKKC(Chicago), WLRA(Joliet/Romeoville IL), internet radio in New Jersey and getting over 60,000 listens on his myspace page in just 4 months. CAMIL has been on a soundtrack called A Get Together which included Kanye West, and Boyz 2 Men. CAMIL is also in an up and coming movie that was shot in Brooklyn New York called the Coalition which includes people such as Reakwon and Power from The Wu-tang Clan, Chuck Zito, Michael Wright, Frank Vincent.
