   About Cam MacInnes
After having moved to Toronto in 1980 I worked with bands such as Drastic Measures, RaRu, Perfect World, Melanie Doane, Melody Ranch, Gayle Ackroyd, Big Heavy Set Men, Mary Jo Eustace, Lee Whalen, Linda Maruta, Besharah, Amanda Clemens, Sazacha Red Sky (aka Nancy Nash), Ana Mulrooney....the list still goes on. I currently work with Bill Colgate and...... (www.billcolgate.com) and sometimes with Greg Quill and the Usual Suspects (www.gregquill.com). I'm proud to say these are original music projects.......and always will be. This pretty much keeps me playing every week. As you can see with the pics.....well some of the pics....I am a dog lover. Lana and I are involved in Dog Rescue. In our case most of them are Airedale Terriers.

live at The Dominion on Queen photos courtesy of Rick Halpern Myspace Layouts

Bill Colgate and the Urbane Guerillas.....is Bill Colgate vocals / harmonica, Joe Gaitanis guitar / mandolin / banjo / vocals, Stephen Bright acoustic and electric bass and Bruce Moffet drums. Greg Quill and the Usual Suspects is Greg Quill vocal/guitar with any combination of the suspects, such as Bucky Berger drums, Dennis Pinhorn bass, Denis Keldie accordion and Anne Lindsay violin. Here is an older clip of Bill Colgate and the Urbane Guerillas shot with a camcorder at Grafittis in Kensington Market. Shiraz Tayyeb (drums), Rob Clarke (bass), Vezi Tayyeb (wurlitzer), Bill (vocal), myself (dobro). Below this is a recent youtube thing shot with Bill Colgate (vocal), Joe Gaitanis (acoustic guitar) and myself (National guitar) doing Metaphysical Blues from Bill's CD "Boomer Bust".

Hey Cam,

Thanks for the Add also,

Love Greg Quill, I had His 1st album from the 60's Fleetwood Plain, Played it to death & then it was stolen in the early 80's. Didn't get another copy of it till last year, Greg sent Me an email saying His old stuff will be re-released soon, I'm looking forward to that.

He's playing in Sydney next month, Would love to get down there to see Him.

Sam See is surely a great guitarist. He's been around since the 60's as well.

I'd also love to get to Canada one day for a visit/look around, Off to Japan next month, One of My Sons lives there.

Hi Cam!!

Long time no see. I really tried to make it out to your last "Dominion Matinee" of the season but, well as you know, didn't make it after all.

Hope you're well and please give Lana a hug from me.

Hope to see you both real soon.

Sounds like wind blowing in a wheatfield, train rolling down the line, rain coming down on a old tin shed, steel, wire and a rusty heart. Boots of leather and dust and ash. Mollasess and coal and stone. Wedding rings and buried bones of love broken and burnt. Tales and the footprints, ravenswings and souls are earnt."
