About me:
Campaign For Change is a politically-conscious social network founded in Birmingham, Alabama. Campaign For Change was created in the endeavor to provide individuals with a means, through our social events, to be informed about socio-political issues that affect them, by highlighting the local and national socio-political activities in a comfortable and entertaining atmosphere. Furthermore, Campaign For Change not only wants to highlight these activities, but has taken the initiative to cultivate and support a grassroots mobilization for politically progressive candidates on a local [city and state] and national level that have demonstrated themselves to be intellectually and morally equipped for the position in which they are running. Our socials held in and around the Birmingham area, attract a very intellectually and culturally eclectic crowd.
It’s an opportunity for attendees to meet new and exciting people in an environment that welcomes and encourages both candid and intelligent conversation. We recognize the apathetic and cynical feelings each of us have come to feel at one point or another towards politics. Therefore, we have created a medium that allows those who do not necessarily understand or appreciate politics to mingle with those who do. At each event we highlight a different socio-political agenda (Topic of Dialogue) for our attendees to converse about while mingling. We hope that each and every attendee leave knowing just a little (or a lot) more about what was discussed that night. If we are successful, we have succeeded in our campaign for change.

Picasso Pets Artwork at Art on the Rocks! July 20th, 5 to 10 p.m. Paintings created for the the Picasso Pets Auction will be featured at July 20th's Art on the Rocks at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite painting and register to win a special prize.
The Picasso Pets Artwork will be on display in the Sonat Gallery July 18th through August 17th.
