About me:
Public Campaign Action Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sweeping reforms that put voters first in our electoral process. We work to pass Clean Elections, or publicly financed elections, at the local, state, and federal levels.
Clean Elections is law for some or all races in seven states and two cities. In 2006, more than 200 Clean Elections officials were elected to office free from the influence of special interest donations. In March, Senators Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Arlen Specter (R-PA) introduced the Fair Elections Now Act which would bring public financing to Congress.
