Camp Amped is a two week long summer day camp for middle and high school students ages 11-18 at Nuçi's Space in Athens, GA. Students are taught and mentored by some of the most amazing people in Athens, GA who just happen to be some of the city's most talented and accomplished musicians. Camp Amped 2009 instructors include: Dan Nettles, Carl Lindberg, Joel Byron, Claire Campbell, Thayer Sarrano, Philip Mayer, Betsey Franck, Seth Hendershot, Ben Mize, Peter Alvanos and Allen Owens. We couldn't ask for a better group of instructors! While at Camp Amped, participants form bands and have the opportunity to write, learn, and record new music. At the end of the two week long camp, students perform in their own rock show at the Grand Finale at Nuçi's Space. The place is always packed!
Camp Amped 2009 dates are June 8th-20th and July 6th-18th. Session choices is based on a first-come first-serve basis and on the availability of open slots per instrument.
