Now Available! Woot!
What an exciting year this has been!
This time last year I was working on edits on Calthraca: The Tiger.
Now I'm releasing my third book and getting ready to start edits on my fourth.
I've learned so much, but the biggest thing is, writing the book is the easy part.
Marketing and promoting are the hard parts. I've been fortunate in having a lot of help from my friends and peers, and I don't know where I'd be without their knowledge and advice.
I want to take this time and say thank you to all of them, as well as my readers and reviewers.
2008 will be another great year!

He was not the man fate intended for her.
He had been her first lover, a man so masterful that he had held her life in the palm of his hand. When Tengri-Khan, Sehzade of Tartak died, Adama had wanted to die with him.
Fifteen years later, an older and wiser Adama Fawkes has found her fated love in Kesim Trasain, her husband, a powerful sorcerer, and the man who would move heaven and earth for her. Settled comfortably into their happy life, they thought their journey was over, they thought they'd earned some peace. But fate had other plans.
Tengri-Khan has returned and he wants his wife back.
Once again stolen from her family, Adama is far too strong now to meekly accept Tengri's rule. Her fervent plans for escape, her hope and her heart are put to the test when she encounters Khalid Fariz, Saracen and assassin from Tengri's past.

An Original Yankee...
I was born and raised and educated in Maine, and live in Southern Maine today.
My husband and I have known each other since we were nine years old and although we did not grow up together, have always been in each other's lives. When we finally smartened up, we decided to get married on the spur of the moment; that was fifteen years ago, and we're still going strong.
We're the very proud parents of three incredible kids who never cease to alternately amaze and frustrate us.
I began writing when I was very young, I can remember crafting simple stories when I was seven or eight. Living in the land of Stephen King, Carolyn Chute and even Longfellow, there is no shortage of inspiration here.
When I reached college I took all the literature and history classes I could with an aim toward teaching. I never became I teacher, but I never stopped writing.
A good friend encouraged me to submit my stories to publishers, and the end result is my being here trying like crazy to talk about myself without sounding snooty :)
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I've enjoyed creating it.
