now that i've asked a few friends to listen to these songs, i just realize that myspace makes them sound like digital shit. sorry. Please contact me if you'd like a better version.
Happy to see Duster continuing into the millennium. For what it's worth, I just recorded some things that, as usual, are pretty heavily influenced by all things 'static cult'...'word'
Just want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! When is TSCL going to release a new Duster album? Any word on it? Job well done on the previous albums! They give some friends of mine and I much inspiration when we jam together. Take Care and Much Love from Forever After!-Zack
All right, so, I remember when I first found Stratosphere at my local record shop many, many years ago. I listened to a bunch of shitty $2 CDs until reaching yours and I pretty much fell in love with it immediately. I purchased it (it was the only CD I purchased that day), and was soon picked up by my best friend, his boyfriend and this girl that I was trying to entrance.
My best friend's boyfriend drove a two seater truck, so the girl and I had to lay in the bed of the truck in order to get a ride. She brought a CD player, and I stuck Stratosphere into it. We listened to it for about a half hour, sharing one head phone each, just lying in the back of this truck with the autumn leaves displaying all their colors to us while they died.
This experience with your CD has left a permanent impression into my brain, and the music on the CD went on to greatly influence me in my own music. It still sits in my car so that I can listen to it whenever the mood strikes me. This is usually in the morning. It's good morning music. Thank you. End of ramble.
