Of Thorn & Vine Promotions will once more be bringing the brutality into the heart of central Alberta! The fifth in a string of seemingly never-ending psychotic metal show madness promises to absolutely slay Red Deer yet again! This is a show you simply won't want to miss, and you'll be able to witness four amazing metal bands for a mere 8 dollars at the door. Second up is another Edmonton-based band. Mortillery will be bringing the heavy with an 80's thrash influence to their music. They formed in 2008 and have been shredding the scene ever since. On February 2011, Mortillery went into the studio to record their first album, titles "Murder Death Kill", which will be released by Horror Pain Gore Death Productions later this summer. Until then, make due by listening to them on their websites by following the links!

Next in line to crush Red Deer, also from Edmonton, Shadowblade. Formed in 2006, these guys bring a powerful, progressive and heavy sound to the table. Their debut full-length album, called "Frozen Serenity" is not only a masterpiece but it is available online and in person. Check them out using the following links!

Of course, headlining the show will be our very own homegrown Red Deer-based favorites, Awkward Silence. These guys last slayed O'Malley's on April 30th, 2011, and have been eagerly awaiting another show ever since.
