Ha aperto il 15 settembre 2006 nel centro storico di Modena la galleria d'arte Canalgrande18di Giuliano Garagnani. Canalgrande18 nasce come spazio espositivo dedicato all'arte contemporanea dall'esperienza maturata negli anni con Master Mirror.
La galleria come spazio fisico non esiste più, ma si è trasformata, divenendo "C18 Associazione culturale", per il momento ci occuperemo di promozione culturale, ma abbiamo in cantiere alcune proposte interessanti, continuate ad inviarci le segnalazioni delle vostre iniziative, faremo girare la notizia anche con la nostra mailing list. Vorrei conoscere nel frattempo qualche artista che si occupi di "creative commons" applicata alle arti visive. L'associazione culturale C18 avrà come intento quello di individuare e proporre alcuni degli artisti più interessanti della giovane scena artistica contemporanea, non solo con opere di disegno e pittura ma anche attingendo a settori come la performance, la video-arte, l'installazione, ecc. Cerchiamo contatti con chi si occupa di "creative commons" nei settori della fotografia artistica, della video arte, dell'arte digitale.
Chiariremo meglio il progetto in seguito.

Opened on September 15th, 2006 in the historical center of Modena the new art gallery Canalgrande18. Canalgrande18 is born as a space devoted to the contemporary art by the experience matured in the years from the
art-shop Master Mirror.
The Gallery is situated inside a sixteenth-century building of Modena (Italy), and it
will have as intent to individualize and propose some of the most interesting artists of the young contemporary artistic scene, not only with works of sketch and painting but also performance, video-art, installation, etc.
