In my music collection you'll find: Prince (first on this list for a reason!), Madonna, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and other 80's pop stars I like from back in the day; Marillion, Fish, Yes, Asia, and other progressive rock; Peter Gabriel, Eurythmics & Annie Lennox, Betty Davis, Black Flag, X, Candy Dulfer, Vangelis, Trance & other electronica, Joe Satriani, Rush, Pink Floyd, NIN, The Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance & Lisa Gerrard, This Mortal Coil, Enigma, Bjork, Arcade Fire, Siouxsie, some classical music and soundtracks, Sigur Ros, New Order, Kate Bush, Van Hunt, and much else...at least a little bit of almost everything except country and rap/hip hop...

Ricks; "Tracks" by Robyn Davidson; "The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid" by Bill Bryson; "No Life for a Lady" by Agnes Morley Cleaveland; "Thumbs-Up Australia: Hitchhiking the Outback" by Tom Parry; "Cauldron" by Jack McDevitt; "Einstein's Telescope" by Evalyn Gates; and the latest editions of "Backpacker" and the odd magazine concerning travel, climbing, or other oudoors activities.
