Candace Bilyk is a professional composer, violist, and private instructor. She received a Bachelor of Music degree from The Catholic University of America in May 2007.
As a violist, Candace can be found playing at weddings, corporate events, the occasional coffee shop or restaurant, and church services. As a recording artist, she can be heard on i-lash's new album, coming out sometime in 2009.
As a composer, Candace frequently does arrangements and writes original music. Current projects include Project Loop (http://candacebilyk.com/project-loop), an initiative to create more royalty free music available on the internet, and Pomme de Terre, a "band" exploring the space between pop and classical styles of music.
Candace has been teaching for several years and enjoys working with students of any age. Whether you are a parent who wants your child to work hard at an instrument or an adult hobbyist who just wants to have some fun, Candy can tailor lessons to suit your needs.

Hi Candy! How you been? I'm good, soooooooooooooo busy, I basically am working three jobs. I'm afraid to tell you the last time I touched my violin.....I'm going to start practicing again though, real soon. I PROMISE! Also, I think you should compose a ragtime song for violin...there just aren't that many compositions for violin for ragtime music. I know, BRILLIANT IDEA, right?
