...... .... .... is a concept from voltaire's CANDIDE + EMPIRE sickness of the absolute power. i am Laurent Lenclud, i experiment. I am interresting myself in "made of noise" music since 1988 when i recieved my very first own computer, an AMIGA 500. My first computer "experience" was on a ZX SPECTRUM. I am mostly working now on hardwares (samplers, synths, effects, instruments,...) sequencing the parts on computer. I don't play "live" with a laptop, i just record on a laptop. CANDIDEMPIRE is the main volume of my musical & visual work. I work it mostly alone in a small recording studio I have made for my own use. I created with JOSHUA & THOT a collective label "crew" called LE NORD ELEKTRONIK. LE NORD ELEKTRONIK is the name we put on our releases, we are no "kind of" producers or editors.
